Meal plans for week of 8/14/17

Meal plans for no spend month.


  1. Chicken strips, french fries, veggie or fruit 
  2. Pizza
  3. Sausage and peppers
  4. Mac and cheese, peas and carrots. 
  5. Tuna casserole, honey ginger carrots 
  6. Beef vegetable soup , rolls or cheese bread 
  7. Breakfast for dinner. 


Notes
  1. Homemade chicken strips , frozen french fries, 
  2. Pizza is always a favorite around here.   Granddaughter loves to make it.  
  3. Sausage and peppers can be made in the oven, or on the stove in a skillet. 
  4. Homemade mac and cheese. Start with cream soup base.  Add cheese.  Frozen peas and carrots. 
  5. Tuna casserole starts with cream soup base and noodles.  Boil carrot coins and make a honey ginger saucce.  
  6. Beef vegetable soup in a slow cooker or insta pot.   Tomato bouillon beefs up the flavor and adds nutrition.   
  7. We love breakfast for dinner and it can  be economical or not.   Eating a mid day meal on a Sunday and a more light meal in the evening works.
