Yesterday's vegetable soup.
- 2 cans of diced tomatoes (non bpa can from Safeways. )
- 1 can white beans , drained
- 1 can chilli beans, undrained
- 1 package dried vegetables (purchased at GO for a dime)
- 1 T tomato powder
- Parsley and onion powder
- Quarter of a cup each of dried carrots and celery.
- 4 cups water
Dump ingredients in slow cooker and program for as many hours as you have before dinner.
Everything is cooked, so you just need to meld the flavors and make the house smell wonderful.
Serve with grated parm garnish.
I made rice pudding afterwards. Another way to beef up the protein.
