1 - 27.5 ounce can or jar of pasta sauce
1 b dry pasta
2 cups grated cheese of choice
Water
Leftover cooked meat in small dice if desired or cooked hamburger
- Place DRY uncooked pasta in a greased 9X 13 pan.
- Mix a can or jar of pasta sauce with equal amount of water. I just use the same can or jar getting all the sauce out.
- Pour over pasta and stir.
- Cover, and bake at 425 for 45 minutes or until pasta is cooked.
- Uncover, lower the hear to 375 and stir in leftover meat (optional) and top with cheese.
- Cook for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serves 6 for a cost of 2.68 or .45 a serving.
Add a garden salad
You can pair the cheese with the type of pasta. About any pasta will work except whole wheat or large shapes that usually take longer to cook.
